O fereastra deschisa catre universul romanesc, asta se doreste a fi albumul trilingv (romana–franceza–engleza) oferit celor interesati de patrimoniul national intrat in cel mondial. Un text concis, dar bogat in informatie, sub semnaturile dlui acad. Razvan Theodorescu si dnei Atena Groza, insotit de fotografii remarcabile, va descrie cele 7 situri aflate pe Lista UNESCO – Cetatile dacice din Muntii Orastiei, Centrul istoric al Sighisoarei, Asezarile sasesti cu ziduri fortificate din Transilvania, Bisericile cu pictura murala exterioara din nordul Moldovei (inclusiv Biserica Sucevita, recent intrata pe aceasta lista si absenta din albumele deja existente in librarii), Manastirea Hurezi, Bisericile de lemn din Maramures si Delta Dunarii.

O carte de suflet pentru romanii de pretutindeni, dar si o carte care ne prezinta strainilor altfel decat prin cliseele mass-mediei sau prin stereotipuri simpliste, adica prin traditie istorica si culturala, frumuseti naturale, dar si repere religioase.

Romania in the UNESCO Heritage A window open to the Romanian world, this is what is intended to be the trilingual album (Romanian-French-English) presented to those showing interest in the national heritage which became part of the world heritage. A concise text, yet rich in information, signed by academician Razvan Theodorescu and by Atena Groza, illustrated with remarkable pictures, depicts the seven sites on the UNESCO List – the Dacian fortresses of Orastie Mountains, the historic centre of Sighisoara, the Saxon fortresses of Transylvania, the churches with exterior mural painting of the northern Moldavia (including the Sucevita church which entered this list recently and which is missing from the albums already on the market), the Hurezi Monastery, the wooden churches of Maramures and the Danube Delta.

A soul book for Romanians everywhere, but also a book which gives another picture of us then the media clichés or the simplistic stereotypes do, that is a picture of historical and cultural tradition, beauty of nature, but also religious landmarks.

La Roumanie au patrimoine de l'UNESCO Une fenêtre ouverte vers l’univers roumain – c’est l’image que l’album trilingue (roumain-français-anglais) veut offrir à ceux qui s’intéressent au patrimoine national, inclus dans le patrimoine mondial. Un texte concis, mais riche en informations, portant les signatures de l’académicien Razvan Theodorescu et d’Atena Groza, assorti de remarquables photographies, décrit au lecteur les sept sites inscrites sur la liste UNESCO – les cités daciques des Monts d’Orastie, le Centre historique de Sighisoara, les Etablissements fortifiés saxons de Transylvanie, les Eglises à peinture murale extérieure du Nord de la Moldavie (y compris celle de Sucevita, récemment inscrite sur cette liste et, de ce fait, inexistante dans les albums déjà parus), le Monastère de Hurezi, les Eglises en bois de Maramures et le Delta du Danube.

Un ouvrage important pour les Roumains de tous les coins du monde, mais aussi un livre à l’aide duquel les étrangers peuvent nous connaitre autrement qu’à travers les clichés des médias ou les stéréotypes simplistes, à savoir par l’entremise de la tradition historique et culturelle, des beautés de la nature, ainsi que des repères religieux.
